YDU Partners with Team MAC for Hip-Hop Class and STEM Session

Longtime partners Youth Development United and Making a Change Group (aka Team MAC) have kicked off a new wave of collaborations, partly inspired by discussions surrounding the Community Partnership Award presentation to YDU at Team MAC’s anniversary celebration.

The first event of this new era took place on Saturday, December 14 at Widener University. The two groups came together for a hip-hop dance class led by Widener student Ijjae N Hill. Next, Professor Nadine McHenry engaged them in a demonstration that connected their dance experience with an examination of the workings of the human heart.

The groups will continue to collaborate in ways that present the children of Chester with healthy choices and encouragement to make positive decisions, all while having a lot of fun together.
