Main St Elementary Enjoys Gifts from The Foundry Church and End-of-Season Party

Thanks to generous sponsors, our Soccer for Success season at Main Street Elementary School wrapped up with a special gift and a fun dinner party for all.

The children were delighted to receive backpacks and supplies donated and assembled by members of The Foundry Church in Wallingford. Pastor Chuck Kieffer regularly offers such support to the children in our program; in August, he helped make backpacks available at our camp just in time for the start of school. Everyone is grateful for this ongoing generosity, as the items provided are always useful and thoughtful.

Participants in all Main Street after-school programs were welcomed to partake in the feast and the joy.

Soccer will resume at Main Street in the first week of January. Special thanks to Principal Medley, Ms. Yolanda Jackson, Coach-Mentor Tiaira Butler and Coach-Mentor Tamia Cottman for everything you all do for the children.
