Stacy Yates Joins YDU Board

Youth Development United is delighted to announce that Stacy Yates has joined its Board, effective October 2023.

Ms. Yates is a Certified School Counselor for the School District of Philadelphia. She is married to Malcolm Yates and they are the parents of two amazing daughters.

Born and raised in Queens, New York City, Stacy attended the University of Delaware and Wilmington University where she advanced through her scholastic endeavors and obtained her Bachelor's degree in Human Services and two Masters of Education. She is a  self-published author of three motivational journals and serves on multiple leadership boards. 

Ms. Yates recently obtained a certificate in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion from Widener University and is currently pursuing a certificate in Marriage and Family Counseling from Capella University. 

Ms. Yates believes in being the change she wishes to see. 

“Stacy has a wealth of experiences that will add valuable insights to our discussions and decision-making,” stated Board Chairman Brent Jacquette.
