"Muddy Sneakers" Story Club Launches at Stetser Elementary

In October, a Story Club called Muddy Sneakers began as a part of the afterschool enrichment experience at Stetser Elementary School in the Chester Upland School District.

The club meets weekly, offering 5th graders an opportunity to discover their voice, master presentation skills and explore the power of story. The club curriculum is designed to nurture the dreamer, encourage creativity and unlock problem solving. Students read, draw, invent stories and learn from great storytellers of the past and present.

Each participating child is given a Doodle kit, a journal & colored pencils to sketch ideas, write ideas and to dream dreams.
