Malvern Prep Presents Lacrosse Clinic to YDU

Youth Development United’s partnership with Sow Good Now has resulted in a variety of sports clinics that connect youth from Greater Chester with mentors from other parts of Southeastern PA. The most recent event was a lacrosse clinic in Eddystone, PA staffed by members of the Malvern Prep lacrosse team.

This event was inspired by the success of another collaborative lacrosse clinic that took place in October. Participating children wanted more, and so the organizations worked together to make it happen again in November. Malvern Prep students TJ McDermott and Brendan Brill spearheaded this second event and are reportedly eager to bring more sports opportunities to the community later in the year.

Mary Fischer-Nassib, founder of Sow Good Now, commented, “The event was really wonderful. I was so proud of the kids. They were so courageous and kind to each other. The Malvern Prep athletes were great leaders. We are really grateful for the partnership that allows us to bring communities together.”
