Dance Lessons Delight

Dance lessons have become a treasured component of Youth Development United’s active, fun programming.

Professional ballerina Jennifer Chipman-Bloom graciously taught a large group last Saturday, and then all enjoyed an extensive buffet lunch in the Widener University dining hall.

“The children loved it all and can’t wait for next time,” reported Ms. Yolanda Jackson, an educator who serves as Site Director for YDU’s Soccer for Success program and helps out at weekend events.

Upcoming dance lessons are scheduled for March 16th, April 20th and May 11th.

Special thanks also to Ms. LaShanda Patton of Widener University who helps us coordinate our use of the Widener dance studio and access to the dining hall.
