CUYS Plays at CUSD Family Summit

On Saturday, December 7th, we were honored to once again play a role at a Chester Upland School District Family Summit. As usual, the event brought together families, students, and organizations to celebrate and strengthen connections within our community. (See past Family Summit news here.)

Throughout the day, our coach-mentors from Chester Upland Youth Soccer ran indoor activities to keep the kids engaged and active. The day was filled with lots of “tick-tock” drills, juggling, goalkeeping and scoring. It was heartwarming to see so many familiar faces from our programs and the local community, reminding us of the strong bonds we continue to build through our work. We were able to enjoy performances from the Main Street Elementary School Choir and other activities as well.

We are incredibly grateful to have been invited to once again participate in such a meaningful event. Opportunities like this allow us to support the district’s efforts while sharing our passion for soccer, healthy living, and mentorship. It was wonderful to connect with some of our organization partners and catch up with one another.

Thanks to Coach Chris, Raina, Jeannine and all our visitors for a great day!
