Career Discovery Day at Union Stadium

Youth Development United aims to inspire children, and strives to give them opportunities to build dreams for their bright futures.

Today, YDU collaborated with the Philadelphia Union to provide Career Discovery Day in connection with a tour of the stadium.

Daniel Brown, who is an Account Executive in the Union’s Season Ticket Sales department, hosted the tour. He started out by asking the children what they thought they might want to be when they grow up. Their responses included cosmetologist, school principal, cardiologist, Youtuber, writer, mascot, college professor and artist.

Daniel informed the group, “Everything you said, we do that here too.” Throughout the tour he explained about the many jobs in fields such as medicine, marketing and education that all play an important part of the team’s success.

“Today was awesome. Daniel was a great tour guide. He did an amazing job engaging with the kids,” commented Juanita, who attended with her son, Jackson.
